The Loop is a community for Brazilian Zouk DJs at every level — built on honest feedback, shared knowledge, and the belief that everyone deserves a crew to grow with.
Open to all Zouk DJs
How it's different
Most places to learn are either too casual — vibes, unstructured internet rambling — or too gatekeep-y. The Loop is neither. No algorithms, no noise. Just a focused environment built around one thing: getting better at Zouk DJing.
Whether you've been spinning for a month or a decade, there's something here for you. We're all learners. That's the whole point.
What you get
The Loop is built around things that actually help you improve your skills.
Drop a Zouk mix or a transition, get real ears on it. Structure, energy, track selection, floor dynamics — get help hearing what you might not hear yourself.
Zouk-specific tips, musicality guides, gear questions, software — a library of knowledge built by the community, for the community.
Curated playlists from our team and places to share what you're digging. Broaden your Zouk library and hear what others are enjoying across the globe.
Find your people — collaborators, practice partners, local scene connections, or just someone else who stays up too late obsessing over transitions.
Prompts to push your creativity. Build a set around a theme, nail a difficult transition, find a forgotten gem. Learn by doing.
Joining the loop is simple; follow the steps below:
Click Join on Discord and create a free account if you don't have one. Fill out an application so we know who you are and someone on the team will let you in shortly. That's all it takes to get in!
You'll find dedicated spaces organized around how DJs actually work and learn — mixes, music, feedback, gear, and more.
Drop a mix, share a track you've been loving, or ask for help on a transition you've been working on. Channels are organized so the right people see the right content.
Take classes from DJs who understand Zouk floors, energy arcs, and what it means to read a room. Grow faster together than you ever would alone.
Who we are
We're a small group of Brazilian Zouk DJs who met through the music and decided to build the community we wished existed when we were starting out. Three DJs, three countries, one shared obsession.

Czech Republic
DJ Kron is a Brazilian Zouk DJ, dancer, and teacher from the Czech Republic. Known for deep, emotional sets that challenge dancers' creativity and build musical flow, he's been shaping Zouk floors across Europe for over 8 years. A lifelong music lover who believes the right track at the right moment can change a room.

USA
DJ Sprenk is a Brazilian Zouk DJ based in Cambridge, MA. Originally a musician, his approach to DJing is rooted in music theory and emotional storytelling — known across North America for genre-blending arcs and a healthy dose of nerdy joy.

Netherlands
DJ Xearo is a DJ, musical director, and instructor working internationally within the Brazilian Zouk community. Based in Amsterdam and playing top marathons and festivals across Europe since 2016, his focus is always the same: right music, right moment.

FAQ
The Loop is a Discord community — so all you need is a free account. Once you join, you'll have access to channels for sharing mixes, discovering music, getting feedback, and connecting with other Zouk DJs around the world.
Yes! The core community is completely free to join. We're also building paid spaces for members who want to go deeper: structured feedback programs, masterclasses, and more focused leveling-up resources. Those will be optional add-ons, never a gate on the community itself.
Perfect time to join. The Loop is built for every level, and early stages are actually when community matters most — you'll find people who remember exactly where you are and want to help. No gatekeeping, no dumb questions.
There's plenty here for you too. Experienced DJs bring knowledge the community needs — and often find that teaching sharpens their own craft. You'll also find peers at your level to exchange ideas with, plus access to deeper resources as we build them out.
You're welcome too! You can still come to learn, hear the DJ perspective, find new artists and music, and more.
